Palliative Care
Palliative care is provided to a patient that has been diagnosed with a chronic or terminal disease and requires supportive therapies to improve quality of life. These pets may suffer from conditions such as kidney failure, chronic arthritis, cancer, or dementia. The focus is no longer on a cure but for their care and comfort. HousePaws creates an individual treatment plan designed to meet the pet’s medical needs and provides educational and emotional support to caregivers. This protocol is designed to be an active plan that will be modified as the pet’s condition changes. In-home Pet Palliative Care is available in The Woodlands.
